And what a pleasure speaking to you two...thanks for a great interview

Anna

Just took a listen to this podcast, and I finally think I have my theme for a sequel post on Shaping Youth: "We are the world, we are YOUR children" ;-)

Seriously, guys, you two have shown the skill sets of 'good parenting' to 103 kids...Patience, flexibility, tolerance, warmth, listening and acknowledging new ideas, repeating expectations, respecting opinions, and lovingly "overcommunicating" to make things perfectly clear with this global tribe. Your 'birth of the book' analogy is not so far-reaching, eh?

Thank you so much for 'raising' this family, not to mention the conversation itself.

p.s. Like a dynamic duo who wants another child while one is still in diapers, you're bound to hear, "Are you NUTS? You wanna do it AGAIN?" Truly DO appreciate your gestation and labor of love...

Promise that's the end of my metaphors for now ;-) ---Amy
